Town of Norton
Board Term 2017-2020

Jennifer Carlino has been the Conservation Director for the Town of Norton for the past 15 years. In addition to wetland administration, she oversees the Open Space Committee and the Conservation Land Stewards Committee. She volunteers with the New England Wildflower Society as a Plant Conservation Volunteer and with the Natural Heritage and Endangered Species Program. She is the past Secretary of the Association of Massachusetts Wetland Scientists (AMWS), serves on the Board of Directors for the Massachusetts Association of Conservation Commissions, and was on DEP’s Regulatory Reform Advisory Committee. Jennifer has received over 1 million dollars in state and private grants to preserve over 1200 acres of land in Norton. She has certified more than 90 vernal pools. In her spare time, she can be found looking for State-listed plants, dragonflies/damselflies and freshwater mussels, rock climbing, or tracking wildlife.
